My hearing doctor has suggested I get a hearing aid. I really don’t want to but I know it will be a much better world if I can actually hear what’s going on it. So I started doing a little research today on the Internet and was shocked to see how much hearing aids are. Most hearing aids are thousands of dollars and insurance does not pay for them. This got me pretty heated. Are there not budget hearing aids out there? I did manage to find some cheaper options but they were all of the analog variety. I don’t even really know what that means but they are the older style I think. I’m going to keep looking around in hopes to find a better solution for budget hearing aids.

I’m a big fan of setting precise goals to pursue each month. It makes me organize my life better and enjoy it more, when I get the desired results. For this month, I decided I need to lose 20 pounds, in order to look good at a wedding I’m going to take part next month. This is the first time I’m setting a goal like this, with major implications in other areas of my life. As you can figure out easily, I’ll need to change all my clothes, because nothing would fit me anymore. I won’t be able to buy my evening dress for that wedding too long time before the event, because it won’t fit. Luckily I can keep my shoes. However, I feel proud for choosing such an important goal and I surely hope I can attain it, without getting myself killed by starvation.

This is not funny, but it amuses me a lot: I like spying on my neighbors. I’ve discovered this occasionally, while I was watching the moon through my new binoculars. One night I pointed the binoculars the wrong way, and saw Fred watching TV in his living room across the street. Don’t worry, I’m not a freak, I only watch harmless things like cooking or eating. Besides, the other neighbors have some dense Bali vertical blinds, so I can barely see anything through them. It’s only Fred that I’m watching and he knows. I felt like telling him my little secret. I believe he likes to be watched. So, we have a match, haven’t we?
